Lathe/machining

Process various steel materials as the first process of manufacturing multiple brazed tools.

Brazing

Braze carbide or diamond to steel materials, and braze diamond to cemented carbide. This process can not be done by numerical control machining, but it requires the manual work of artisans who need to pursue a high standard.

※ Brazing is a metal-joining process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal into the joint. The filler metal has a lower melting point than the adjoining metal.

Grinding

Using various cylindrical polishing equipment, process the outer diameter of the tool. We do rough processing and finishing process in this phase. The extreme diameter tolerance of the cylindrical part can be up to ± one μm.

Grooving, Blade Backing

Process grooves of various tools.
For brazed products, the cutting surface (back of the blade) of the tip is polished.

Attaching Blade (CNC)

We attach blades to various cemented carbide tools and diamond tools with a CNC tool grinding machine.
In the majority of equipment, we process from grooving to blade cutting with automatically replacing the grindstone.
In addition, many facilities are equipped with automatic tool supply devices (loaders) that can be operated unmanned.
(Some equipment is installed in a constant temperature room in the factory, and we established a mass production system for manufacturing more accurate tools.)

At the production site of a wide variety of small lots, many processes use an automatic machine, so we perform various operations with a manual device.

We also have internal processing machines, wires, center less machines, electric discharge machines, surface grinding machines.

Shipping Inspection

We do 100% inspection on each product without any quantity limitations.
We strive to prevent defective products by conducting multifaceted inspections with multiple inspection facilities.
Each factory has the latest inspection equipment, and we perform high-precision in-process inspection and shipping inspection.
